I've always loved to eat, especially desserts. In 2014, my appetite became bigger. It wasn't enough for me to just eat dessert- I wanted to know how to make dessert too. With two young kids at home, going to pastry school was out of the question, so I bought the baking text book On Baking, and read it cover to cover. I even started a pastry blog to document my adventures and misadventures in the kitchen. It took me a full year to complete. What I came away with was a new knowledge of how baking works, confidence in the kitchen, and an even bigger desire to keep going. And so I did, and that's why I'm here today.
